The Enka Sports Club situated on 30 acres of verdant land, where education, sports and arts converge, continues to be active in athletics, water polo, tennis and swimming branches. The club had so far 5096 licensed athletes, 802 of whom are actively involved in competition; others are trainers who are academy graduates.<\/p>\n

Our facilities include synthetic athletic fields with 6 lane, a multi-purpose sports hall of international standards which can be used as 3 basketball or 3 volleyball courts, an Olympic outdoor swimming pool (convertible by \u201cbubble\u201d to an indoor pool for the winter season), a semi-Olympic indoor swimming pool, 12 tennis courts including 6 training courts which are bubble-covered for winter events, two outdoor match courts, three indoor courts and one center court, a fitness center accommodating a gym facility for cardio exercises, training studio, massage and lounge sections.<\/p>\n

The Clubhouse comprises a cafeteria, restaurant, bridge and chess hall which caters to 7300 members of the club, its athletes and the summer and winter sports schools.<\/p>\n

The Enka Sports Club is built on a solid infrastructure initially consisting of our sports schools as well as the students of the Enka Schools and talented young people who come from a wide social background.<\/p>\n

The Sadi G\u00fcl\u00e7elik Sports Complex also boasts an unmatched landscape. The rich flora (including 10.000 trees carefully nurtured over the years) offers both an excellent training and studying environment for athletes and students and an oasis of green in the middle of the city for art lovers and all visitors.<\/p>\n

The six-lane tartan track and field are of international standards and can host sprints (100, 200 and 400m), middle distance competition (800 and 1500m), long distance events (3000, 5000 and 10000m), women\u2019s 100m hurdle and men\u2019s 110m hurdle as well as men\u2019s and women\u2019s 400m and 3,000 steeplechase, shot put, hammer throw, javelin, long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault. A weightlifting hall, physical fitness hall and a locker room complement the athletics fields. In addition to competitive athletes in all categories, the track and field unit is in the service of the Enka School\u2019s track and field branch and after-school program as well as for our members.<\/p>\n
