Club athlete Viktoria Zeynep Güneş won gold at the 5th World Junior Swimming Championships in the 50 metre and 100 metre breaststroke, 200 metre mixed style and, on the last day, the 200 metre breaststroke. Clocking in at 2:19.64 in the 200 metre breaststroke, Güneş became the third female swimmer to clock under 2:20 and at the same time set the World Junior Record. In the last race, the club athlete once more won the World Championship and brought back her fourth gold medal to Turkey. We congratulate our athlete and her trainer.
