The 35th Turkey Fair Play Awards Ceremony 2016, organized by the Turkish Olympic Committee (TOC) was held on Monday, 20th of November 2017 in the House of Olympics with the motto “İyiye, doğruya, güzele” this year.
19 people and organizations received the Fair Play Awards at the ceremony, in which our national tennis player Çağla Büyükakçay was given the Honor Diploma.
In her speech our national tennis player Çağla Büyükakçay noted the following:
“During the period of 2015-2016 at TOC I was the Head of the Sports Commission. Since then, I’ve been deeply affected by the Olympic values and Fair Play spirit. Everyone can be successful in sports, but not everyone gets the Fair Play award. I’m so honored to have received this award.
