Our athletes, representing our country at the World Team Race Walking Championships held in Brazil, achieved the following results:
Ayşe Aslan improved her own Turkish record in Marathon Race Walking with a time of 3:48:48, surpassing her previous record of 3:50:10, and finished 13th in the world. Meryem Bekmez broke the Turkish record in Half Marathon Race Walking with a time of 1:41:30. Mazlum Demir became the new holder of the Turkish record in Half Marathon Race Walking with a time of 1:31:58.
