At the Turkey-Belarus-Ukraine tripartite tournament held in Trabzon on April 7th-8th 2012, club player Esra Gaz set a new Turkey record in javelin (500 gr) with 52.92 metres and won the competition. The previous record of 50.91 metres was also Gaz’s.
