Our athlete Kerem Yılmaz, who is ranked 107th in the ITF Junior World Rankings, defeated World No. 34 Zangar Nurlanuly 6-1, 7-6 in the third round match of the J500 Cairo International Tennis Tournament held in Egypt, one of the highest level junior series tournaments, and made it to the quarterfinals for the first time in a tournament of this level.
He also made it to the quarterfinals in the doubles category with his British partner Benjamin Gusic Wan, defeating the duo Connor Doig/Allan Gatoto.
Our athlete came in 3rd in the Tennis Europe Junior Masters, which was held at the Monte-Carlo Country Club in Monaco between 2022 and was attended by the 8 best performing athletes in Europe aged 16 and under.
