Our athlete, Muhammed Yavuz Selim Oğuz, won the 10,000-meter freestyle race in 1:57.29 at the Turkish Open Water Swimming Summer Championships (+14), National Team Selection Competitions, 11-12-13 Age Group Development Summer Competitions, and International Open Water Swimming Development Group Team Selection Competitions held in Marmaris.
With this successful result, our athlete has also surpassed the qualifying times for the European Senior Open Water Swimming Championships to be held in Paris on August 4-8, 2026, and the European Junior Open Water Swimming Championships to be held in Hungary on July 23-26, 2026.
