At the sprint and relay team races held in Erzurum on July 25th-26th, club athletes set Turkey records and earned quota for the world championship. In the 400 metre race Batuhan Altıntaş beat his own Turkey Junior Record and brought it down to 46.30. Club relay team consisting of Jak Ali-Emre-İzzet and Yiğitcan clocked in at 38.79 second to set a new Turkey record and to gain a significant advantage in earning a participation quota for the world championship. Athletes who will participate in the world championship will be determined on August 10th. Furthermore, the 4×100 metre U16 girls team set a new Turkey U16 record with 48.02 seconds.
