ENKA Sports Club will represent our country with 10 athletes at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games to be held in Paris, the capital of France, between July 26 and August 11, 2024.
Among the athletes participating in athletics on behalf of the club;
Competing in the Olympics for the 3rd time; 2016 Rio Olympics 3rd place Yasmani Copello Escobar (400m. Hurdles), 2016 European 3rd place Emel Dereli (Shot Put), 2017 European Cross Country Champion Kaan Kigen Özbilen (Marathon),
Competing in the Olympics for the 2nd time; 2020 Tokyo Olympics 6th Necati Er (Triple Jump), 2019 World 5th Salih Korkmaz (20 km. Walk), 2023 Universiade Champion Meryem Bekmez (20 km. Walk), 2019 European Under 23 Champion Ayşe Tekdal (Marathon Walk Mix Relay) and,
2024 European Second Tuğba Danışmaz (Triple Jump), 2024 European 5th Berke Akçam (400m Hurdles) and 2024 European Championship Finalist Buse Savaşkan (High Jump) who will compete in the Olympics for the first time.
In the 100th year of the Republic of Turkey in the Olympic Games, we are proud that 10 of the 102 athletes, 54 women and 48 men, who will represent our country with the same excitement are from ENKA Sports Club.
