At the European Athletics U23 Championship held between July 13th-16th 2017, our athlete Yasemin Can won gold and set championship records with 31:39.80 at 10,000 metres and 15:01.67 at 5,000 metres.
Emel Dereli, who competed in the shot put finals won 4th place, while Emin Öncel, who competed in the javelin finals won 6th place.
Can Özüpek, who competed in the triple jump finals set a personal best with 16.10 metres and won 5th place, while Necati Er, who competed in the same finals won 9th place with 15.82 metres.
The Turkish 4×400 Relay Team which included ENKA Sports Club athletes Batuhan Altıntaş and Enis Ünsal set a new U23 Turkey Best with 3:10.14, while the 4×100 Relay Team including our athlete Aykut Ay set a new U23 Turkey Best with 40.49.
