At the Youth European Swimming Competition held in Hungary between July 6th-10th 2016, club athlete Kaan Özcan won European fourth place at the 200 metres butterfly stroke category and broke the Turkey 19+ record three times. Özcan also set new records in the 400 metre freestyle and 4×100 metre freestyle relay categories. Zeynep Odabaşı set new records in the 4×100 and 4×200 metre freestyle branches.
