4 of our athletes representing our country were on the podium at the Balkan Walking Championship held at EXPO2016 in Antalya. In the championship, Turkey won a total of 8 medals: 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze.
Our athletes who placed in the Balkan Walking Championship;
Mehmet Güngör came 1st in 10km U20 Men’s,
Hayrettin Yıldız came 2nd in 20km Senior Men’s Race,
Esma Öztekin came 2nd in 10km U20 Women,
Ayşe Tekdal came 3rd in the 20km Senior Women’s Race.
