Our athletes broke new records as part of the Turkish Indoor Championships held in Istanbul.

Elif Polat became the new owner of the Senior Turkey Record with a time of 38.20 seconds in the 300m branch of the Seniors Record Trial Competition.

Ayatollah Demir broke the U20 Indoor Turkey record with a time of 8.01 seconds in the 60m hurdle competition, which is run at the adult hurdle height (1.06,7cm). Our athlete, who also holds the record of 7.78 seconds in the U20 category with a 99.1cm hurdle height of the same branch, thus put his name on the U20 record for the 60m hurdle run at the big hurdle height.

While Ayça Fidanoğlu became the champion with a time of 2:06.68 in the 800m branch, she also became the new owner of the U18 Turkish Record. The old record of 2:09.42 was again his own.
