Our swimmers competed in the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games swimming competitions, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 8-12, 2025.
Belis Şakar won a silver medal in the 400m Medley with a time of 4:57.29 and a bronze medal in the 800m Freestyle with a time of 9:05.53.
Polat Uzer Turnalı won a silver medal in the 400m Medley with a time of 4:23.60.
Onur Ege Öksüz won a bronze medal in the 400m Medley with a time of 4:24.42.
Our 4x200m Freestyle Relay Team, consisting of Belis Şakar and Defne Tanığ, won a gold medal with a time of 8:35.31. Defne Tanığ won the gold medal in the 200m butterfly with a time of 2:15.21, the silver medal in the 100m butterfly with a time of 1:02.05, and the bronze medal in the 200m freestyle with a time of 2:07.43.
Polat Uzer Turnalı won the gold medal in the 200m butterfly with a time of 1:58.14.
Belis Şakar won the bronze medal in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:24.95.
The 4x100m Mixed Relay Team, including Defne Tanığ, won the gold medal in 3:57.96.
The 4x100m Mixed Relay Women’s Team, including Defne Tanığ, won the gold medal in 4:15.59.
