Our Club was chosen as one of the three most successful sports clubs in our country and earned the right to proudly fly the Bronze Star Fair Play Flag of Honor on the flagpole. The Bronze Star Flag, which was raised at the ceremony held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, will fly at our Club facilities until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
At the ceremony, the Turkish National Olympic Committee Fair Play Commission President Erdoğan Arıpınar presented the Fair Play Diploma to our Club President Alparslan Tansuğ.
ARIPINAR: ENKA DESERVED THIS AWARD
Stating that ENKA’s bylaws are full of Fair Play rules from top to bottom, President Arıpınar said, “Every officer at the Turkish National Olympic Committee FairPlay Commission examines every issue meticulously and meticulously. The clubs that provide athletes to the National Teams with the Star and Crescent are prioritized first for those competing in the Olympics and World Championships in Europe, then for those with the most sports branches in the club structure.

In his speech at the ceremony, our Club President said, “Today, we have gathered here to witness a proud and happy moment on behalf of ENKA Sports Club. We are honored to receive the Fair Play Flag of Honor, which was deemed worthy of us by the Turkish National Olympic Committee Fair Play Commission, which rewards the spirit of Fair Play. This flag is not only a symbol of success, but also represents the sports ethics, honesty and respect that our club has adopted for years.
We believe that embracing the values of Fair Play is a very valuable legacy that we can leave to our young athletes. This legacy is to contribute to world peace by embracing the Olympic spirit. Because we wholeheartedly believe that the Olympic spirit is a powerful tool on the path to peace, friendship and love.”
