In the athletics events of the 20th Mediterranean Games held in Taranto, Italy, our athletes achieved the following results:
The Men’s 4x400m Relay Team, featuring Berke Akçam, finished first and won the gold medal, setting both a Turkish record and a Mediterranean Games record. Berke also won the bronze medal in the 400m hurdles final, finishing third with a time of 49.55.
Our Men’s 4x100m Relay Team, including Ertan Özkan and Batuhan Altıntaş, won the silver medal with a time of 39.09.
Can Özüpek won the bronze medal in the triple jump, finishing third with a mark of 16.14m.
Ramazan Baştuğ won the bronze medal in the half marathon, finishing third with a time of 1:04.08.
Our Women’s 4x100m Relay Team, featuring Elif Polat and Büşra Akay, won the bronze medal and set a Turkish record with a time of 44.05.
