Our athlete İsmail Nezir, who won the gold medal after his historic performance at the Youth (U20) World Athletics Championships in Cali last summer, and took the podium with his 4×400 team at the Mediterranean Games, was named the Rising Star of the Year in the 2022 Balkans. Our young athlete Nezir, who received the rising star award given to the best athlete among the Balkan countries under the age of 20 at the gala held in Athens, stated that he is very proud to receive such an award, and that his aim is to continue his debut in the new season and improve his ranks.
