Our athlete Zeynep Sönmez beat the 4th seed 🇮🇹 Nuria Brancaccio 6-4, 7-5 in the final round of the WTA 250 tournament Hamburg European Open qualifiers held in Germany, and moved up to the main table. In the first round of the main table, she faced the American Bernarda Pera, the world number 56. Our athlete, who gave the first set 6-2, took the second set 6-1 and carried the match to the last set. Zeynep lost the match, in which she performed very well, with a score of 6-4 in the last set.
