At the Olympics Qualification Competition held at Istanbul Aslı Çakır Alptekin Indoor Athletics Stadium on January 9th 2016, club athlete Batuhan Altıntaş broke the U23 and Seniors Indoor records, clocking in at 46.83 in the 400 metre run.
